herbon-dishwashing-liquid-5l
Herbon Dishwashing Liquid 5L

Herbon Dishwashing Liquid is a concentrated liquid for washing dishes by hand, supplied in a 5L container for regular kitchen use. Made in Australia, it is designed to remove everyday grease and food residue from dishes, cutlery and cookware. The larger format suits households or shared kitchens that use dishwashing liquid frequently and want a refill supply ready for their usual washing-up routine.

The formula has a citrus and ylang ylang aroma, giving you a scented option for the kitchen without adding a separate fragrance product. Choose it if you enjoy that scent while washing dishes and prefer the liquid format for a sponge, brush or sink of warm water. Herbon lists the full components separately, so you can check the formulation against your own preferences before bringing a larger container into your home.

To use it, apply a small amount to your sponge or brush, or add a small amount to warm washing-up water. Wash your dishes as normal, then rinse them thoroughly. Because Herbon describes the formula as concentrated, begin with the small amount recommended rather than treating the 5L size as a reason to use more per wash. The straightforward method suits everyday washing after meals and kitchen preparation.

The 5L container is a practical size when you have space to keep a refill beside your household supplies. Consider where you will store and handle it before choosing the larger format, especially if your everyday sink space is limited. Keep it in the original container with its label and close it after use. Herbon recommends cool, dry storage away from direct sunlight, which makes a suitable cupboard or cleaning-supplies area a better home than a sunny windowsill.

Herbon has made household cleaning products in Australia since 1982 and describes this dishwashing liquid as using biodegradable ingredients. It is an option for shoppers who want an Australian-made hand-dishwashing product with a stated component list and a larger refill format. Follow the label when using it, and choose a dedicated machine-dishwashing product for an automatic dishwasher. This larger pack is sourced from our supplier when it is not held in our warehouse.
