Meet Dr Mathew McDougall
PhD, MA, RN
Hi, I’m Mathew — founder of Eco Traders Australia. I’m a PhD researcher, Registered Nurse, and hold a Master of Arts in Community & Primary Healthcare, with a long-standing interest in evidence-based natural wellness, gut health, and the way food, stress and lifestyle shape whole-body wellbeing.
I started Eco Traders in Woy Woy, NSW, to make high-quality, carefully chosen wellness products easier for Australian families to access. The standard is straightforward: if a product lacks integrity, usefulness or credibility, it does not make the cut.
Every item we stock is reviewed with care. Ingredient quality, formulation, safety and practical value matter more than trends or inflated claims. Eco Traders is built on trust, thoughtful curation and products that deserve a place in everyday life.
