Acknowledgement

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and work.

Eco Traders respectfully acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of this country and recognises their continuing connection to land, waters, culture and community.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. We recognise that this land was never ceded and that listening, learning and acting with care matters.

Respect Listening and learning Care for community

Our approach

Respect should be visible in practice.

For Eco Traders, that means being conscious of the communities we are part of, communicating with care, and continuing to learn rather than treating acknowledgment as a box to tick.

Why it matters

Place, history and community shape how we should do business.

We want Eco Traders to reflect practical care, thoughtful decisions and genuine respect for people, place and the ongoing cultural significance of Country.

With respect

Acknowledgement matters most when it is paired with humility, listening and a willingness to keep learning.
