About this product

NAS Ear Clear 50ml is an ear-cleaning solution for dogs and cats, supplied in a bottle with a dropper for measured application. It helps remove the dirt, wax and debris that can collect around your pet’s ears. The compact 50ml size fits into a grooming kit for use when ear cleaning is needed, including after swimming or outdoor activities.

The formula contains aluminium acetate solution, aloe vera, witch hazel, boric acid and lavender oil. NAS describes it as free from detergents, sulphates and parabens, with a liquid format that does not rely on a sticky oil base. The dropper lets you apply the listed amount for your animal instead of using an unmeasured splash from a larger bottle.

Prepare for a calm cleaning session with soft cotton pads or cotton balls nearby. Shake the bottle before use, apply the recommended amount, gently massage the base of the ear and wipe away excess liquid and visible debris. Keep wiping to the ear flap and folds you can see. Do not put cotton buds into the ear canal or attempt to clean deeply inside it.

The manufacturer provides separate amounts for cats, small dogs and medium to large dogs, with use daily or weekly as needed and no more than twice a day. Frequency depends on whether cleaning is needed, so inspect the ears before reaching for the bottle. For a pet unfamiliar with ear care, take your time and keep handling gentle; short, positive sessions can make grooming less rushed.

This is a grooming cleaner, and suitability matters before you start. Do not use it with a perforated eardrum, or when serious injury or infection is suspected. Pain, persistent odour, swelling, discharge, hearing changes or balance problems need veterinary advice. Keep the bottle below 25°C, away from direct sunlight, and follow the instructions on the supplied pack. Ear care should remain comfortable for your pet.

Directions for use

Shake well before use. Apply with the dropper; gently massage the base of the ear, then wipe away excess and visible debris using a cotton pad or cotton ball. Clean visible ear folds only; do not insert cotton buds into the ear canal. Manufacturer amounts: cats, 3 drops; small dogs, ½ dropper; medium to large dogs, 1 full dropper. Use daily or weekly as required, up to twice a day. Follow the supplied pack and ask your veterinarian if unsure about the amount or frequency for your animal.

Warnings & suitability

For animal ear-cleaning use. Do not use with a perforated eardrum or suspected serious ear injury or infection. Seek veterinary advice for pain, persistent odour, swelling, discharge, hearing changes or balance problems. Do not insert cotton buds into the ear canal.

Storage

Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight. NAS advises against refrigerating this ear cleaner.
