About this product

NAS Salmon Omega Oil 200ml is a liquid food supplement for dogs and cats, made with Australian Atlantic salmon oil. It offers a measured way to add a fish-based source of omega-3 fatty acids to your pet’s meals. The 200ml bottle is a smaller pack for owners trying a salmon oil topper or buying for one animal.

The salmon is sourced from Tasmania, and the oil naturally contains EPA and DHA. Vitamin E and Naturox® are also listed in the formula. This is a salmon-based oil, rather than the brand’s blended Omega 3, 6 & 9 product, so check the ingredient list when comparing different oils or choosing alongside your pet’s existing food and supplements.

The liquid format can be drizzled onto food, with a natural fish flavour that becomes part of the meal. Measure the amount for your dog’s size or for your cat, rather than pouring freely. If your pet is new to added oils, NAS suggests beginning with a smaller amount and gradually working towards the recommended serve. Keep clean drinking water available.

One standard teaspoon is approximately 5ml. A 200ml bottle therefore contains about 40 teaspoon-sized serves: around 40 days at the small-dog amount, 20 days at the medium-dog amount or 13 days at the large-dog amount. At the listed cat amount of half to one teaspoon, it provides approximately 40–80 days. These estimates help compare pack sizes; actual use depends on the amount fed.

NAS bottles and checks the oil at its Melbourne facility. Before opening, keep it below 25°C and out of direct sunlight; refrigerate once opened and discard any remaining oil after six months. It is not suitable for animals with a history of pancreatitis or seafood allergies. Check suitability with your veterinarian if your pet has an existing condition or a prescribed feeding plan.

Directions for use

Add to your pet’s food daily and provide clean, fresh drinking water. One standard teaspoon is approximately 5ml. Small dogs: 1 teaspoon (5ml). Medium dogs: 2 teaspoons (10ml). Large dogs: 3 teaspoons (15ml). Cats: ½–1 teaspoon (2.5–5ml). NAS does not specify dog weight boundaries in its current feeding guide; follow the pack or ask your veterinarian if unsure. If introducing oil for the first time, start with a smaller amount and gradually increase to the recommended serve.
