Read Nature’s NotebookAbout this product
Salt of the Earth Celtic Sea Salt Coarse 650g contains moist, unrefined sea-salt crystals harvested by hand in France. It is the original coarse variety, with larger crystals and a naturally moist texture for cooking, seasoning and grinding in a suitable salt grinder.
The salt is unwashed and contains no additives. Its coarse texture offers a different experience from the brand's finely milled salt: use it where larger crystals suit the recipe, or allow it to dissolve into a soup, sauce or other liquid as you cook.
The brand recommends its ceramic salt and spice grinder for these moist crystals. If your grinder requires dry salt, choose the separate Low Temp Dried Coarse variety instead. Fine salt is the alternative for an already-ground texture.
This 650g pack suits regular kitchen use. The supplier recommends storing moist coarse crystals in a natural clay or wooden container that allows the salt to breathe. Keep the container clean and follow the storage guidance on the pack.
Choose your texture: Fine 650g · Low Temp Dried Coarse 250g. Choose a salt texture compatible with your grinder.
