About this product

Weleda Baby Teething Powder 60g is an oral homoeopathic medicine made in Australia for babies and children during the teething period. Its traditional anthroposophic and homoeopathic use is for teething discomfort and restlessness. The measured powder format is taken by mouth, using the dose and frequency on the Australian label; it is not a bath product, skin powder or nappy cream.

The formulation contains equal parts of Matricaria chamomilla root 20x and oyster shell, also labelled Conchae: Calc. carb. 6x, in a lactose powder base. These ingredient names and dilutions help distinguish it from herbal teas, tooth gels and other baby products. It contains sugars as lactose and mollusc products, so these disclosures matter when checking whether the formulation is suitable for your child. It is free from synthetic preservatives.

A single dose is 1 g, equivalent to a quarter of a levelled-off 5 mL metric measuring spoon. Mix the measured powder with warm water and administer it immediately; discard a prepared dose that is not used. It may be given straight only to babies already used to eating solids. Weleda advises using a spoon to take powder from the jar rather than dipping a finger into it, and does not recommend adding it to a whole bottle of milk or solid food.

Follow the full directions below for frequency, including the daily limit when more frequent dosing is required. Keep the jar away from moisture, direct sunlight and strong-smelling substances, and store below 30°C. Keep all medicines out of children's reach and do not use a pack with a broken seal. Always read the label and follow the directions for use. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional.
